Morning Star Ranch

 Morning Star Ranch is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization founded in 2020. Each year we offer our services free of charge to hundreds of children in need. Programs are open to at-risk, underserved, or disadvantaged children ages 4 to 15 in Erath and surrounding counties. The children join us through referrals by a teacher, counselor, pastor or other adult, or by application from a caregiver.

These children may be facing difficult challenges in their lives, including:

· Domestic violence

· Non-traditional living arrangements

· Neuro Divergency 

· Divorce in the home

· Financial hardships in family

· Alcohol and drug abuse in the home

Children who come here gain confidence by riding and connecting with horses and thrive through Equine Facilitated Learning (EFL), which promotes the development of life skills for educational, professional, and personal growth through equine-assisted activities.
